& Shoots field Educational Excursion to Arusha National Park
This week, a Roots & Shoots
Club at Mringa Secondary
school will embark into this educational trip to Arusha National
Park. They will visit Momella
Lakes, Park Museum,
view point, waterfall, little Serengeti, forests, Ngurdoto crater and bush
lands. After the trip participants will conduct a basic research to determine
how students from their school understand the value of national Park with focus
to test the hypothesis that: Secondary Students understand differently the
value of national parks according to their different classes. The club will
divide into six groups to interview sample of 20 students, each selecting a
class (Form) to cover forms one through six.

Roots
& Shoots field expedition Programme
In
Collaboration with a Department of study abroad program of the University of
Mississippi USA, Roots & Shoots conducted a field environmental psychology
program in Moshi from 8th, through 11thJanuary2012, in Moshi
Tanzania.
The program brought together adults, teachers and
people from multiple professionals studying at the University of Mississippi of
providing teachers, adults and students involved in Roots & Shoots and
those working/studying at the Mississippi University with a deepening
inspiration, knowledge and experience of which otherwise it would have been
difficult too for them to experience in life.
