FORUMS

The Roots & Shoots zonal office in Arusha conducts monthly Roots & Shoots forums in order to bring over 200 members together to share what has been the main problems in their areas and how they have tried to help or solve.
These forums are special platforms where students get come to a face to face meeting with the most talented experts from areas of Environments, Animals and Community developments.

There are also environmental education video film showing and monthly education excursions to the national parks, all these are made possible through the Office in collaboration with JR-Institute of information Technology-Arusha, Roy Safaris, Safari HQ, and TANAPA.

CLUBS

As the founder of Roots & Shoots (Dr. Jane says) `every individual matters, has a role to play and makes a difference'
Roots & Shoots Arusha works through a vast network of clubs
There are 48 clubs in Arusha town. Club members conduct meetings, elect leaders, and identify local problems facing their surrounding environments, animals and communities and conduct service learning activities and projects for the purpose of learning at the same time serving the environments, animals and communities
